What is your favorite part of your job?

One of the best things about my job is I get to work with children.  I enjoy kids of all ages.  I feel I get to use my creativity and organizing gifts to help further God’s kingdom.  I have the opportunity to enjoy helping the kids grow to know who God is and to support the families of Visio Dei.  It truly is exciting!  

What is your family like?

I have been married for 4 years now to Daniel Smith.  I met him down here in North Carolina after moving here from Michigan almost 8 years ago.  We have two amazing little boys, Brayden who is 2 years old and Teagan who is 3 months old.  I love being a mom and feel so blessed to have them in my life.  I learn new things about myself everyday through them.    

What is your favorite color?

My favorite color is orange.  Why you may ask? It is bright, cheerful and just fun.  

If you were a fruit… what kind of fruit would you be?

I have thought long and hard about this.  I am going to go with a mango for a few reasons.  Mangos are not native to North Carolina and neither am I.  They are sweet and yummy.  Mango starts with “man” and so does Mandy so why not!

What is your greatest fear?

My greatest fear is “a fear of heights”.  I do not like getting near edges of cliffs, walls, or any free falling area.  My hands get all sweaty and clammy and I get real hot and nervous.
